Poor monster..... his background story shows how he is just an innocent creature trying to figure out how to live. Now this reminds me of Tarzan learning how to turn from a wild animal into a human. He observes a poor family and feels guilt for taking their food. Again the theme of being alone shows up when he just watches and helps them anonymously. The fact that the POV is now the monsters is also interesting, it shows the relationship between Victor and his baby.
